MONTROSE est un groupe américain de hard rock, d'arena rock et de heavy metal créé en 1973 à Los Angeles en Californie par SAMMY HAGAR (chant, né SAMUEL ROY HAGAR le 23/10/1947 à Monterey en Californie), RONNIE MONTROSE (guitare, né RONALD DOUGLAS MONTROSE le 29/11/1947 à Denver au Colorado), BILL CHURCH (basse, né le 09/12/1946) et DENNY CARMASSI (batterie). Split en 2005.
