The “Shakira Fever” is high in Costa Rica – this week, 77% of the tickets for her concert on April 9th were sold in only 18 hours.   She jumps 4 more notches to #9 with her latest hit “Sale El Sol” entering the top 10 of the week.   The Black Eyed Peas remain on top with “The Time”, while Camila, who is coming for a concert too this month, approaches the top position with “Bésame” at #2.

 

Both current hits by Enrique Iglesias gain important positions this week, while Duck Sauce enters the top 10 in just 3 weeks with the dancing hit “Barbra Streisand”.

 

Four new songs enter the chart this week:  at #27, Carlos Baute is back with his third hit ever, “Quien Te Quiere Como Yo”.  At #24, the second hit by Maroon 5 from their latest album, a song called “Give A Little More”.   At #23, a worldwide hit by Eminem featuring Rihanna which became very popular in 2010, “Love The Way You Are”, and the hot shot debut at #20, the latest hit by Avril Lavigne, “What The Hell”.   The last time that Avril was in the Costa Rican charts was back in 2008 with her song “Hot”, which reached the #1 spot in February for one week.
