“Loba” by Shakira finally reaches the #1 spot in the country, after Baute and Sanchez spent 4 weeks in the top position, and drop this week two notches to #3.  The last time Shakira hit the top position in Costa Rica was back in 2005, in a duet with the Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz, “La Tortura” which became also the #1 song of the year.   Back in 2003, she had hit the #1 spot with “Que Me Quedes Tú”, which also was the #1 song of that year, an all-time record.

There are three new entries to the chart this week:  at #28, the return of Mika with “We Are Golden”, at #27, Nickelback with “Burn It To The Ground”, and the hot shot debut at #25, “Obsessed” by Mariah Carey, whose last time in the charts was in 2008 with “Bye Bye” .
