The new number one song in the country belongs to The Black Eyed Peas with “Boom Boom Pow”.   This is their 9th hit in the charts, and their 5th number one song in Costa Rica.  Their previous #1 hits were “Shut Up!” (2004), “Hey Mama” (2004), “Don’t Phunk With My Heart” (2005) and “Mas Que Nada” (2006).   Sonohra drops down a notch to #2, while El Parque slips down another notch to #3, two former number one hits.

There is a correction to be made with Shakira’s song (new entry last week) as the correct title is “Loba” without the article “La”.  This week Shakira gains the Power Airplay at #17.

Nelly Furtado returns to the charts with a song in Spanish “Manos Al Aire”.  This is Furtado’s 12th hit in the charts.  The other two entries are at #26, Eros Ramazzotti with “Dímelo A Mí” and at # 27 Green Day with their latest hit, “21 Guns”.
