PAUL YOUNG is a cold funk and blue-eyed-soul english singer born PAUL ANTHONY YOUNG on 17/01/1956 in Luton/Bedfordshire in the north of London. He learns piano and bass guitar at the age of 14 with the encouragements of his father. He records his first record with the STREETBAND before to set the r'n'b band Q-TIPS.
In solo, he'll open concerts for TOM PETTY and makes his greatest hit with "COME BACK AND STAY" (#1 in Germany the 14/11/1983 for 7 weeks and #1 in Switzerland, #3 in Austria and in Norway, #4 in UK, #10 in the Netherlands and #22 in the USA) borrowed from the repertory of JACK LEE.
He marry the top model STACEY SMITH. Together, they have 2 sons, LEVI born on 1987 and GRADY born on 1996, and a daughter LAYLA born on 1994.
