THE HIVES est un groupe suédois de punk-rock et garage-rock formé en 1993 à Fagersta par HOWLIN' PELLE ALMQVIST (chant, né le 29/05/1979 à Fagersta), NICHOLAUS ARSON (guitare/choeur, né le 26/01/1978 à Fagersta), CHRIS DANGEROUS (batterie, né CHRISTIAN GRAHN), DR. MATT DESTRUCTION (basse, né MATTIAS BERNVALL) et VIGILANTE CARLSTROEM (guitare, né MIKAEL ÅSTRÖM).
