C.C. CATCH is a dutch Bohlen-sound
chanteuse born CAROLINE CATHARINA MÜLLER on the 31/07/1964
in Oss in the Netherlands from a german father and a
dutch mother, CORRY. In 1979, all the family settle down
in Germany. She studies sewing, and next join the band
OPTIMAL in the 80's. It's in a Hamburg's disco she met in
1985 her future producer DIETER BOHLEN, leader of MODERN
TALKING. From this collaboration 5 LP will record :
"CATCH THE CATCH" in 1986, "WELCOME
TO THE HEARTBREAK HOTEL" at the end of '86,
"LIKE A HURRICANE" in 1987, "BIG
FUN" in 1988 and "DIAMONDS"
in 1988 with 2 singles #1 in Spain : "HEARTBREAK
HOTEL" (#8 in Germany, #13 in Switzerland and #22
in Austria) and "SOUL SURVIVOR" (#17 in
Germany). She lives in Rödinghausen with her boyfriend
FRANK. 1989 is the year of transition seeing that C.C.
settle down in London in the U.K. in a apartment near
Hyde Park. It's ANDY TAYLOR from DURAN DURAN with DAVE
CLAYTON and JOE DWORNIAK who produce her 6th LP "HEAR
WHAT I SAY" with a sound close by PWL sound in
'89. Our convinced vegetarian will marry a yoga teacher.
