CAPTAIN JACK is a german tanzhammer-pop
project created in 1995 in Darmstadt by UDO NIEBERGALL (production)
and RICHARD WITTE (production). DURBAN WHITE (M.C.) is
replaced quickly in december 1995 by FRANKY GEE (M.C.,
born FRANCISCO GUTIERREZ on the 19/02/1962 in Havana/Cuba).
For the girls, it will have severals singers along time
including LIZA DA COSTA (voice, born on the 26/03/1968 in
Portugal, ex- SECURITY and ex-C.J.), MARIA LUCIA "MALOY"
LOZANES (voice) in 1999, ILLI LOVE (voice, born ANNA
ANTONIA TRAUE) in 2001 and SUNNY (voice) in 2005.
First and greatest hit with "CAPTAIN
JACK" (#1 in the Netherlands, #3 in Germany, #5 in
Norway, #6 in Switzerland and Austria, and #50 in Sweden).
FRANKY dies on the october 21 of 2005
after 5 days in coma in Palma de Mallorca in Spain of
cerebral haemorrhage.
